paint is chipping above windshield paint is chipping above windshield paint is chipping above windshield paint is chipping above windshield

A few months ago I went to Palm Hyundai in Punta Gorda Florida where I purchased my vehicle because my leather wrapped steering wheel seemed to be fading/scoring (not sure how to explain it). Service writer took pics and supposedly sent the info to the proper person to evaluate...a month and a half passed and no follow up call...

Another few weeks pass and washing my car my wife notices 2 chips of paint gone right above my front windshield... I go back to the dealer and get the general manager to get involved and help me...he told me he was only responsible for sales ...we go back to service dept. to the same service write as before, he takes pics again and tells me he will let me know, mentioned that he never called me for the previous complaint ..he said "I know...the Hyundai rep has not been here in a few months"...another month has gone by and nothing...

I called Hyundai motor company for help...the lady I spoke to said there were no notes of any info being sent to them about my paint...she said give me 3-4 business days to investigate..this phone call was on the 1st of October and no one has called me!!! I checked and my paint problem is not an imperfection but a botched paint job under the lemon law but not sure how to go about this... If I let them repaint it won't be like factory and in Florida heat my paint will be jacked up before I pay it off (6400 miles on odometer).
