I was driving to work early a.m. and all of a sudden all of the lights on my dash were flashing then the car suddenly slowed down. Luckily there was a gas station close by and I was able to pull in and park the vehicle. I used a code reader system and it was coded to the electrical system. My battery was dead. Apparently the Alternator pulled all the juice from my battery.

I bought a new battery ($110.00) and took the car to the nearest auto shop.It was the Alternator that went bad. There was gunk all over it. It cost me $290.00 to get it replaced and repaired. Since my Vehicle ID# does not fall under the recall, I had to pay myself. I just checked the Alternator the other day and see that more gunk is on it. I wonder if can take my car in for the recall this time around?
