The i40 is peculiar in that the rear hatch has a plastic trim which continues under the normal drip lip and has drain holes which appear to be in the wrong place. Hence when it rains (it does a lot in UK), when you open the hatch you get showered with water from the lip, it cannot be good to have water standing in door panels let alone making me or the wife wet.
