Transmission jams. Car was in driving condition, but it just wouldn't shift gears or go past 40MPH. Checked with mechanic over phone, and they said usually the transmission works or doesn't work. Took to Nissan dealership, they diagnosed other problems but this one. Researched problem at home, most people said it was the Transmission Control Module, (made in Germany).
It's a black Super Nintendo sized box that goes under the Transmission. Then decided to take it to Infiniti, their suggested repair quote was 13-14 thousand dollars, that is when I decided to get rid of the car. Best car I've every driven, but they should stick to Japanese parts.
