When I presented the problem to the my service department rep. he stated they were aware of the problem and Infiniti was allowing them to replace problem areas free- only once. I asked for a solution so it would not happen again and was told there was none. Thus meaning replaced areas would chip again and it would be at my cost next time. I had driver door grab and steering wheel replaced and the cost for them was $1273.00. This will be my cost if the driver grab and steering wheel chip again. I still have three other doors that could potentially chip but is covered under the "one time free". Oh by the way, the chipping has to be at a certain level before they will replace!! I think that since I paid 40K for the car, Infiniti should have a better material. The service rep said it was nice to the touch....not so nice to the touch when it is chipping!!
