Two times on 10/31/2020 while driving in city traffic (1st time) engine shut off, no power no dash lights just dead. I managed to get to the side of the road. Car started back up but failed to continue to run (2x) then started and we began to drive toward home.
The 2nd time, on a highway at about 60 mph, it did the same thing. Coasted to side of the highway, after feeling like a sitting duck with cars whizzing by us. It restarted. Drove it home. Service engine soon light on. It's been there since.
Update from Sep 7, 2021: We have replaced the cam positioning sensor 2x and it did it a third time. I don't even take the car more than 5 miles away from home. I can't trust it.
