QX50 Luxe Awd 2.0L Turbo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 9,100 miles

Purchased this with 9100 miles and the engine made a loud whining noise. Dealer said it was normal and reset the computer. Same issue and now Infiniti is replacing the engine! This is total nonsense. No car with this low amount of miles and especially with the reputation of Infiniti should need a NEW ENGINE ON BASICALLY A BRAND NEW CAR! The panoramic roof also needs to be replaced because of it making noises and many others have the same issue as the roof is on a back order. The dealer has 5 cars now waiting for roof parts. And they had to replace the drivers seat as the lumbar switch failed.

So I find out that this is a brand new model, and they always say NEVER buy a new model until they work out the kinks. Sorry, but this is bull. A car manufacturer that rates up there with the best should never have to replace an engine in a brand new freaking car, replace the moon roof and replace the seat. But seriously - a new engine and how the hell am I to know this is to be done correctly? They need to drop it from underneath disc the all wheel drive and trans, drain the coolant and refrigerant and make sure it is put back exactly the same and nothing will be off and each bolt and fluid level is going to be correct? And Infiniti will not buy the car back...
