The contact owns a 2004 Jaguar Xj vander plus. The contact's vehicle was experiencing unwanted acceleration. If attempting to make a stop on level ground with Y foot on the brakes the car will continue to accelerate and keep going. About a year and half ago he contacted the dealership, they worked on the vehicle, but told the contact that they were unsure if they corrected the problem because they did not have these problems on any other cars. The contact began to experience this problem about six months after he purchased the vehicle. This has occurred about 3 times. But he it was a very scary experience.

Accelerator and brake pedal are too close together causing me to depress both pedels at the same time when trying to stop car. Dealer advised me to take this complaint to another level since there are no remedies available.
