XJ XJL 5.0L Supercharged

  • Automatic transmission

THIS CAR AND MOST ALL OTHER XJ'S ARE SUBJECT TO A VIBRATING STEERING WHEEL AT AROUND 50 MPH. THE DEALERSHIP DENIES A PROBLEM ALTHOUGH ITS DOCUMENTED ONLINE. THE STEERING IS SO SENSITIVE THAT THE WHEEL PICKS UP EVERYTHING IN THE ROAD. THERE IS NO FIX FOR THIS. THE DEALER TOLD ME IT WAS BECAUSE OF MY TIRES. THEYR'E BRAND NEW BRIDGESTONES AND IVE HAD THEM AND THE RIMS BALANCED AND CHECKED SEVERAL TIMES. HE THEN PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT A MICHELIN TIRE AND GOING BACK TO THE STOCK RIM WOULD CURE THE PROBLEM........MAYBE. WELL, WHICH ONE IS IT????? THE TIRE OR THE RIM????? WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF IT BEING BOTH AT THE SAME TIME? HE COULDNT ANSWER THAT? THATS A 9 THOUSAND DOLLAR DEAL TO GO BACK TO STOCK. ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THE MICHELIN TIRE "NEVER" CAME STOCK ON THE JAGUAR???????? YET THEY STILL WOULD NOT ACKNOWLEDGE AND INHERENT PROBLEM WITH THE JAGUAR????? I SPENT 50 GRAND ON THIS CAR WITH ONLY 25000 MILES ON IT AND A WARRANTY GOOD TIL 2018.................COINCIDENTLY THE WARRANTY DOESNT COVER MY HANDS GETTING VIBRATED TO DEATH.. DONT BUY THIS CAR!!!
