One of the new problems my 2014 Jeep Cherokee with 8,000 miles is having is that my entire shifter console lights up. It doesn't matter if you are in drive, park, whatever every gear is illuminated as if it is selected. The only time it will correct itself is by turning the vehicle off and turning it back on. Happens just about every time I drive now.
