The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. While driving various speeds off an exit ramp, the contact clipped the front driver side tire on a curb. As a result, the driver side rim fractured, which made the vehicle immobile. The contact stated that there was damage to the bottom of the vehicle due to the tire fracture. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a repair shop. There were no injuries. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000. The VIN was not available....updated 01/23/17
