Cherokee Limited V6

  • CVT transmission
  • 12,676 miles

Posting this again because it happened for the fourth time. 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited with just over 12k miles. Dashboard, radio screen display, and gear shift lights go black - no speedometer, gas gauge, climate controls, etc.

We talked to Mopar customer service after the last dealer did not fix the problem and they offered no solutions, other than leaving the car for weeks or longer and let them drive it every day until they see the problem. We told them this is a safety issue, that is under warranty and we want it fixed asap, but no later than before the warranty runs out in November. We also mentioned there was a recall for display issues on 2019 Jeep Cherokees before, but Mopar said that did not affect our Jeep. Their solution was to go to a different dealership.

We went to the second dealership, explained how this has happened four times now, and left it for service. Basically got the same answer as the other dealer - no error code in the system, not to start switching out parts without knowing what the problem is, and leave the car indefinitely until they can duplicate the problem!

The only difference is the second dealership took it a step further and yelled at my wife for wasting an hour of their time that the dealership and technician would not get reimbursed for, because they didn't fix anything.

Called Mopar customer service back, and their solution is to go back to one of the dealerships (or a different one), and they will send a Mopar representative to be at the dealership when they look at the Cherokee. We'll see if that makes a difference.

We had Toyotas and Hondas for 15 years before buying our first Jeep, and we will NEVER buy another Jeep again!

We have the same issue with a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited with just over 12k miles. Dashboard, radio screen display, and gear shift lights go black - no speedometer, gas gauge, climate controls, etc. This has happened three times. The dealer did not fix the issue and said they can't do anything if the dashboard and screen display is working when we get there. Their answer is to leave the car for weeks or longer and let them drive it every day until they see the problem.

Cherokee Latitude 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 4,068 miles

Basically, my Jeep is a great all around vehicle. However, driving at night and the dash lights going out is a problem. They go out and at sometime or other come back on. The problem is intermittent. Today, they went off for good.
