The contact owns a 2008 Jeep Commander equipped with bf goodrich tires, tire line: Rugged terrain, tire size: 245/65/17, dot number: Bf8T. The contact stated that he experienced a puncture and had the vehicle taken to an independent mechanic to have the tire repaired. The contact was informed that all the other tires showed tread separation. The contact contacted the local walmart where the tires were purchased but was offered no assistance. The tire manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle failure mileage was 170,000. The tire failure mileage was unknown.
