The contact owns a 2009 Jeep Commander. Upon entering the vehicle, the contact noticed that the third row seat belt casings were fractured. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. The technician stated that the casings were fractured and that the seat belt buckles need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 59,200. The VIN was not available.
