The contact owns a 2010 Jeep Compass. The contact noticed that the inside of the tire tread was prematurely worn. The contact took his vehicle to a tire shop mechanic and was advised that the lower front control arm and ball joints needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 33,000. Updated 8/11/14
