Compass Sport 2.4L

Again with the seatbelt light and chime issue. This time, the dealer replaced every known sensor, belt, and retractor in the system

Compass Sport 2.4L

Once again with the seatbelt lights coming on, even though the passenger is belted in. The vehicle is currently at the dealer...again...while they try to figure out how to repair it. Every single item in the seatbelt system has been replaced. The issue comes around the same time the radio issues come, causing me to think that it's a computer issue. Luckily I have a loaner vehicle provided by the dealer so that they can ponder just what they are going to do. I'm contacting a Lemon Law Attorney to discuss my rights as a consumer and owner of this vehicle. This is the 4th time it's been in the dealer's service center. I now know the service manager's children's names and their birthdays, as well as his wife's name...something I only know because I've been into his office more times than I care to admit

Update from Jan 7, 2018: The car is nearing 17K miles, and has been in the dealership 8 different times for the same problem. The last time in, they once again replaced retractors, but also jumped a wire in the harness between the driver's seat to the instrument cluster, and replaced the instrument cluster. That was about 1500 miles ago, and the problem is back.
