Grand Cherokee 4WD

  • miles
Vehicle purchased with approximately 39800 miles on the odometer. This failure of the water pump at 55000 miles seems very premature. Mechanic at garage where repair was made remarked that he had seen several failures of water pumps in Chrysler products recently. While not directly a safety problem, there could be more of this type of failure as vehicles from this model year reach the 50000 to 65000 mileage region.
