While having the vehicle inspected for NHTSA campaign number: 13V252000 (fuel system, gasoline, structure), the technician noticed that the frame rail was completely corroded. The dealer refused to perform the recall repair. The contact believed this to be a major safety issue. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 145,000.
