: the contact stated a noxious odor of rotten egg or sulfur was noticed in the passenger compartment while the vehicle was running. The smell was more noticeable at driving speeds of 55 mph. The vehicle was taken to the service dealer, but diagnostics were unable to identify the cause, although the odor was noticed by the service mechanics. The catalytic converter was suggested as a possible cause but not confirmed. The manufacturer was notified. Updated 2/12/2007 -
