There was an open recall for rear structural enhancement of the vehicle that required a hitch be installed. I scheduled the recalled repair, it was marked completed and i was told they are no longer doing that repair. My son works for another jeep dealership and informed me they have to do that no matter how old and they are still performing the needed repair but mine has been marked closed so he is unable to help fix mine. How do i address this issue to have it completed correctly

My jeep does the death wobble anytime I hit a small bump in the road, pothole, Lane marker...etc. it is very hard to control at that point and seems as though it might flip if it gets any worst or hit a big enough bump. It is very hard to control and to get to stop once it gets going. It poses a huge safety concern for myself and others being that I have to get the truck to stop when it does the death wobble which means someone coming behind me would/should have to stop as well and definitely is a nuisance to myself and other drivers. Please help. I have read and been told it could be any one of the steering or suspension components.

Discovered that all windows and side mirrors were no longer operarable from within vechicle panel on driver side. Unable to lock the vechicle from within, as well. Unable to lock the vechicle with key control from outside, only manually, though the key control can still lock all other doors, including the rear gate. Firestone stated that only a Jeep dealer can repair this issue.

The vehicle sometimes doesn't start and sometimes it starts just fine. Sometimes when you put it in drive it will die and sometimes it will run just fine. Sometimes it has a rough idle and will stall and die when driving down the road. And then when you start it back up again it will run just fine and then will stall and die again. We have taken it to the dealership and they replaced the coil pack and it is still doing the same thing. We have checked all of the grounds and there are no codes being displayed.

Very loud noise still emitting from dashboard when vehicle after turning engine off. Has gotten louder after taken to dealership to have recall taken care of. Using today's date as a reference because it was significantly loudest of anytime I ever noticed. Today it was louder than ever. Thought my Jeep was going to explode.

Unknown issue : I looked it up on youtube and people call it the death wobble? you drive down the road fine and then hit a small bump and the front end shakes uncontrollably at any speed. Loose control of steering due to the shaking! other issue is the cruise controller kicks on and the RPM spikes to red zonnnne the only way to disengage it is to turn vehicle off then back on!!!

Takata recall. Clock will not go off at anytime, so battery goes down overnight all the time. Brake and ABS lights stays on while driving. Ignition key doesn't match door nor hatch locks. The exhaust system has vibration at times when in motion. When test driving this vehicle I just assumed the vehicle had been sitting with an older battery was why it needed to be jumped. Then after I got it home and it sat overnight and I had the same problem; I thought I'd left something turned on. Then I discovered that the clock will not go off. I purchased this vehicle on 5/17/2019 as is.

My 2004 Jeep has 110,768 miles on it and durring the recent cold spell in western NY the heater and ac stopped working ! my windows fogged up and couldn't see, I was a sitting duck in the middle of the road as I couldnt see. I was told tjat the wiers under/inside the dash behind the glove bkx has melted causing it to short out ? this seems to be a recall issue as if the original wiers R melting during normal use it can cause a fire. Please recall and fix.

I have called the Chrysler recall hotline and a dealership nearby to see if my car has a recall on the crankshaft positioning sensor because my car keeps dying while I'm driving down the road and idles rough. I did some research online and several websites showed a problem with my make and year model yet I cannot redeem a recall which I'm guessing is because it's VIN specific. I would just like my crankshaft positioning sensor replaced. My car has been know to die several times through the day with no warning. It has died multiple time going down george bush highway towards lewisville before you exit for main street and has even died in my way to school in the mornings which is only about 1/2 a mile. The calendar at the bottom of the page does not let me select more than one date which is troubling because I could put a check mark in a majority of days where it has died.

Ignition switch-P41. I went to the garage one Saturday morning on my way to work and could not crank up my vehicle. The ignition would literally not turn the steering wheel or anything. The lights to the car would blink and my car wouldn't start with the key in the ignition; however, the safety recall is on a model car one year after mine. This is not the first time the ignition would not crank up. One time, I literally had to pull over and stop the car only to try and start it again but it wouldn't crank. In order for it to go, I had to bang on the ignition park to get it to turn the key and further start the ignition. The issues are the same as the recall but I'm out of pocket some $687 at the dealership, which I had to wait 3 hours for a tow truck to come through. I do not understand why this model car was not covered under warranty as well. I am a single parent and it is so frustrating to try and provide for my child when I can't use the only transportation that I have plus the fact that it costs an arm and a leg just to fix. I cannot afford another car note at this time. Please consider the 2004 models in this recall.

My 2004 has recently intermittently has been shutting down while driving. I have called Jeep and asked for help with diagnosing what is wrong and they refused. I have had it checked several times by my own mechanic and after numerous repairs the problem is still happening. There is no warning, sound, or rhyme or reason when it happens and it happens in traffic. It is a very dangerous deffect, whatever, it is and since noone at Jeep seems to want to help I am filing a complaint for others who may have this same type of vehicle to beware. There was a recall on this year vehicle in 2004 brand new when the car came out on the crankshaft sensor which does cause intermittent stalling but again Jeep would not assist me to diagnose if this is the problem. It always happen while moving in traffic again without any warning. It is not so much that it stalls - the vehicle literally shuts down. Almost like its a safety issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fca recall R60/NHTSA 15V-673 after I got the mail on May 10, I immediately called the dealer hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram at duluth ga. I was told the part would be available in one day, so I scheduled an appointment on May 14. On May 14, I got up at 8am and drove more than 30 miles for this recall service. I waited at the dealer place for more than 2 hours before they told me that the parts was not available. They told me they would call me when the part was going to be in stock within 3-5 days, however they never called me until I called them on May 20. I reschedule the second appointment with them on May 20 for 9am. I got up early and drove that far to there, and the only thing I could find after spending another 2 hours is that they told me the part they have is not the right one. I feel very frustrated about this recall service and I am doubting about the quality of the service from the fca dealer. I would not believe a dealer who should make a mistake just on ordering the recall part, would get this recall service done right.

Complaint is about recalls being painful and fca not seeming like it wants to perform them: R60: Parts are still not available though we got a notice labeled "important safety recall" months ago. According to our dealer parts are still not available. Apparently this is for an airbag issue but it does not seem that fca is making "every effort to obtain these parts as quickly as possible" as is stated on the recall notice. N47: I have called our local dealer a few times and they refuse to look at it saying that since we don't have an aftermarket trailer hitch that our vehicle is not eligible for any remedy for the exploding gas tanks. Is our vehicle safe to drive"?"

Receive a N47 customer care satisfaction notice (rear structural reinforcement). When I contacted customer care they told me because my Jeep did not have a trailer hitch I did not need to have it inspected and have a hitch installed. My gas tank is behind the rear axle and hangs below the bumper. I belive that something should be done I think it presents a danger in a rear end collision. I think they just want to avoid the expense.
