Grand Cherokee V6 4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

My Brother have jeep Grand Cherokee, and he suffered from Engine High Temp. many times, it seems that Radiator fan goes Crazy and Stop of working in the middle of trip, he open the engine hood and found the Fan Jammed and it requires to extend his arm and by using metallic rod to give the fan the initial boost to start run again, finally after long suffering he be advised to replace the fan, and since the fan is two speed motor, it was so difficult to find any AC Delco Fan, so he bought Genuine Part with 300 USD Cost.

I think Jeep Manufacturer should use one speed fan and use some thing common from AC Delco Range, so the user can use any other commercial fan rather than purchasing a very expensive one.

generally All Jeep owners are complaining from OEM Spare part cost and Availability.

Thanks
