Jeep would not start, so a friend wiggled the starter wires and started running. Next day, would not start at all. Had to tow to shop to get fixed.

After having the reoccurring flickering gauges and light problems, now my vehicle won't start and acts like it has a bad starter although it was tested and is fine. I have no clue what it really is but my research leads me back to the same faulty electrical issues that Chrysler won't address. A month ago I had the identical problem but my mechanic was unable to find the problem and said it was acting normal. It is very unpredictable and when it starts acting up it effect driving and starting the vehicle without a proper band easy way to diagnose the issue...

I have had continuance starter problems in my Jeep spanning from July 2011-July 2012. In Jan of 2012 I finally got a new starter, thinking that would solve the issued but 6 months later my car wouldn't start. After getting it stuck in a parking garage, calling AAA and pushing it to the ramp to tow it up, the AAA guy decided to try and start my car and BINGO, the car started! When I took it to the Jeep dealership to look over (they are the ones who installed the new starter) said they couldn't find why it happened or even replicate it. My husband had a 2005 Jeep GC and he had the same problems with it. The car wont turn over. It clicks once and it sounds like it wants to start but it wont. Its nerve wracking knowing every time I start my car if he will actually start.

Started my car but it wouldn't start. I knew it wasn't my battery b/c i had just installed a new one 2 months prior. I tried more than several times to start my car but it just wouldn't turn over. When AAA arrived to look at my car, he gave it one turn and it turned on. I took my car to NTB to look at it and they couldn't find why/how it occurred. The starter didn't give me problems again until about 6 weeks later.
