The contact owns a 2008 Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph, the anti lock braking light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who stated that a rear anti lock braking speed sensor malfunctioned, causing the failure. The dealer also stated that the light indicated that the braking system would not function due to the speed sensor reading inaccurately. In addition, the dealer stated that if the vehicle was driven during rainy weather, it could be very dangerous. The anti lock braking sensor was replaced. After the repairs, the same failure occurred on the front passenger speed sensor. The contact stated that the vehicle was unsafe to drive due to the faulty speed sensors.
