Grand Cherokee Limited V6

  • Manual transmission
  • 85,000 miles

MY HUSBAND BOUGHT A 2010 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAST YEAR 2016 ON APRIL, AFTER COUPLE WEEKS ON A RAINY DAY THE CAR START LEAKING FROM THE DRIVER SIDE PILLAR, WE BROUGHT IT BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY "ADJUSTED IT" WELL A WEEK AFTER IT KEPT RAINING NOT LEAKING" INSIDE THE CAR FROM THE SAME SPOT AND GETTING THE FLOOR ALL WET, WE BROUGHT IT AGAIN AND THEY READJUSTED IT... LIKE A MONTH AFTER THE CAR DIDN'T LEAK FROM THERE BUT STARTED GIVING US DIFFERENT KIND OF PROBLEMS LIKE SHOWING TIRE PRESSURE EVERYDAY ON 2 WHEELS UNDER 25. WE CHANGED THE TIRES (ALTHOUGH I DON'T THINK THAT WAS THE PROBLEM) NOW RECENTLY AT THE BEGINNING OF MARCH THE HEAT DECIDED NOT TO WORK AND OF COURSE DURING STORM DAY AND SUPER COLD WEEK.... I KEEP READING AND IT'S NOT JUST US WITH THE SAME PROBLEM... I WANT EVERYBODY TO KNOW THIS KIND OF PROBLEM BECAUSE THE LEAKING IS AFFECTING ALL THE ELECTRIC SYSTEM AND COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS FOR A DRIVER. AND ALSO I DON'T THINK IT'S FAIR FOR A CUSTOMER TO FIX ALL THESE PROBLEMS AT THEIR OWN EXPENSES WHEN CLEARLY IT'S POOR DESIGN FROM JEEP DIRECTLY... DOES ANYBODY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND CAN HELP US OUT?

Grand Cherokee Limited 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 88,000 miles

BOUGHT the Jeep last August and immediately had electrical issues. Every time it rains or have high humidity my electrical system goes crazy. Battery drained dead yesterday with no rain but very high humidity while parked in driveway. Often it starts with brake lights turning on, then tipm goes nuts and within minutes battery is drained. Replaced battery shortly after purchase and went downhill from there. Often dash lights flash, codes pop up but techs can't find problem area.

Dealer worked on it dozens of time with help from Jeep engineers but no luck. last week Jeep customer service closed my ticket after 6 months due to failure to understand fault. The jeep is awesome but without reliable electrics my stress level is through the roof. my wife and I are disabled and need a safe vehicle for Michigan winters. We are a Ram/Jeep family but Chrysler has failed to offer a solution. Lemon Law is past availability for me.

TOMORROW I'M towing it back into the dealer with another totally killed battery. The windshield is a Chinese after market piece of crap installed before I bought it. Could it be a bad seal on windshield? Had replaced the sunroof thinking that may be the issue but no luck. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP.
