Grand Cherokee Ladero 3.6L

Purchase the unit in 2011 used. I had mentioned this problem every time the unit was in for services and Dealership stated that they can't see any issues.

Rubber molding on the lights are not covering the taillights, so when I wash the unit water gets in the cases of the taillights and blows the light bulbs.

very frequent tail lights out

My right rear light burned through the plastic housing. It's funny, because some of these ding-dong Jeep problems don't show up on my receipts for service. My receipt says it replaced the r rear bulb (along with the two front daytime running lights, of course) but does not show that the housing for the light was replaced.

Grand Cherokee Overland Summit

I've had to replace rear turn signal bulbs or tail lamp bulbs multiple times in my JGC's two year life. All done at dealership, all under warranty. The last time I was there one of the mechanics told me it was a manufacturing defect in the assembly that allowed water to get in. They have now replaced both assemblies, so I will see if that provides a fix.
