I have two major issues. The first being that the leather on my dash has completely shriveled up into weird bumps and looks horrible. I'm not sure what would of caused it because it is something that I have never seen before. The second thing is that my back right suspension is messed up. The back left side of my Jeep sags when I put it in park and as it lowers into park level.

I"M the third owner and have to find out the hard way. Sincerely [xxx] usa. Retired information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

My Jeep was driving just find until a couple days ago. I heard a gnarly pop and pssssssstttttt noise from the right front of my car. Luckily I just pulled into my dads driveway, since I thought my tire popped and was hissing air out. I get out to find that my front air suspension, on both sides, was done for... it is currently in the shop and awaiting inspection. I read that this has happened to many Jeep gc owners which is ridiculous, and Jeep/mopar should look into this further! hopefully the repairs don't cost me an arm and leg, because I am fresh out...

Driving from the gas station to the highway when the rear air suspension failed to shut off and overinflated causing the forward mounts on the rear subframe to be ripped out of the body of the car which cause the subframe to crash into the exhaust, transfer case, and drive shaft which immobilized the vehicle. No injuries occurred luckily as the vehicle had not made it to the highway when the failure occurred.

I purchased my Jeep gr Cherokee summit Oct 23rd 2018 and it has had suspension problems since I got it. It make a horrible grinding noise when I either turn on or shut off the vehicle and it lasts for a few seconds. I was driving on the highway and service suspension immediately flashed on my dashboard and while driving on the parkway doing 75 miles an hours my car decided to start making a horrible noise like I was driving on the wake up strip on the side of the road and my little idiot light on the dash was flashing the little Jeep icon and it was trying to adjust the height at that rate of speed. For an over $60,000. Dollar truck, I expect more from it then to start to fail after picking it up from the dealer brand new. I went to the dealership, they told me that some kind of tube for the suspension was incorrectly installed backwards, fixed the problem and sent me on my merry way, only to have the exact same thing happen a few hours later. I am beyond pissed that this is happening to my truck with less than three thousand miles on it. I couldn't sell this truck to someone in the state that it is in!!!! Chrysler/Dodge step up and figure out the problem!!!!!!!!

When the outside air temperature goes below 20 degrees F, I get a message that the air suspension needs serviced. The suspension bottoms out. It makes it unsafe to be on the road. When the outside air temperature warms up into the upper 20 degrees it starts working again. This has happened several times since I purchased this vehicle new in 2012.

We were driving in the express highway pr 30, at a speed of 45 to 50 mph, in the direction of humacao towards caguas, we heard a loud noise at the back part of the vehicle (sound it as an impact). The vehicle started making a loud noise. We were able to control the vehicle and park in the area of stops for emergencies. When we inspect the vehicle we noticed that all the rear suspension was on the differential and the escape (muffle). The two structural supports on both sides of the rear suspension were broken. We called a crane and when we got to the flat bed we could see that the chassis had split on both sides of the vehicle. The structural basis of the crossmember in the chassis were broken. The force was so great that the crossmember broke the differential and the muffler. Once we get off the crane, we see the damage, the structural 2 base in the chassis are broken and the crossmember is over the differential and muffler. The 2 base for the crossmember, on the chassis, collapse and the crossmember broke the differential and the muffler. The crossmember bushing in the back is blend too.

Vehicle has said service air suspension numerous times. Took to the dealer several times and the mechanic cant find anything wrong or replicate the issue. Now car is stuck with the front suspension all the way at the bottom and the back is stuck in a higher position. Hear air compressions in the back of the car, air suspension is trying to activate but wont move. Is able to drive at various speed. Attempted to raise and lower at park, neutral and moving at various speeds from 5-60mph. Was warned to not drive unless needed to because vehicle could lose control easily. Is up to date on recalls and service reports. Seems like a big safety issue

On April 16, 2018, I took my car into the glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership in glendale, mo, to obtain the alternator diode thermal fatigue recall replacement. During their inspection, I was notified that I also needed to replace the rack and pinion power steering module due to leaking fluid for $2300. This item is connected to the recall of the alternator diode thermal fatigue problem. In addition, I was notified by the inspector that I had to replace the right rear shocks, also due to broken seals and leaking fluid. This car obviously is experiencing systemic failures, for which Jeep should be held responsible, since the car has only been driven by myself and has only 46,000 miles on it. These core items should last at least 100,000 miles. I have found that the dealership is charging me almost twice the going rate for replacing these items, and this is quite upsetting. I have found information on the internet that there are many similar complaints about these electrical failures, and feel strongly that your organization should issue a recall re the rack and pinion power steering module as soon as possible. This is a very dangerous failure and should be Jeep's responsibility. My car has had regular service check-ups, the last one being on December 9, 2017, to obtain the brake booster water shield recall replacement - another failure. Between December 9 and April 16, the car was not driven more than a few hundred miles, and always garaged and clean. No accidents in its history. And yet, its electrical system seems to be disintegrating. I feel my life is in danger in this car, and I obviously cannot sell it without these items being fixed, harming me further financially. Please act on this complaint as soon as possible.

The air suspension in this Jeep doesn't work below 22F per Jeep there is a tsb for this issue but this should be a recall since -20F is common where we live. Last winter the pump wouldn't inflate the front suspension causing the back to be up in the air and the front so low that I couldn't see. The only way for it to start working again is to wait for the air to warm up or bring it to a garage. During this condition you can hardly see anything on the road. I feel this shouldn't be a cost for me to fix since this is a safety concern for anyone driving this cars during the winter where I live northern nd. Tsb number is 08-034-12. I am going to most likely pay for this since I am sure by the time if anything is figured out it will be cold in this area again.

33K milage took my Jeep in to get the routine oil change, the shop found the rack and pinion assembly was completely broke and the front struts were completely blown out at 33K miles this should not happen. The repairs cost $3,700. If Jeep knows there was a problem in 2012 they should have taken care of it. Betty / thornton, Colorado
