problem #2

Grand Cherokee Limited 5.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 99,419 miles

I was moving my seat back, I didn't realize there was something behind the seat. The seat is now broken and it doesn't move backward or forward. It looks like it's derailed and I may have to buy a new seat bracket.

There should be a sensor in place to stop you from moving the seat back when it senses resistance.

Grand Cherokee V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 30,000 miles

My MAIN problem is that I paid about $40000 for a vehicle that is constantly getting recalls. The worst is, I get a card stating there has been a recall and they will notify me later, then I receive nothing else. Have had the brakes supposedly fixed from recall and something else but the visor and the defector alternator I haven't gotten anything on and just received another recall stating the part is on back order and when that comes in they will let me know. In the meantime I could be putting myself in danger driving.

The back of the drivers seat occasionally feels like metal moved which makes me think something isn't right and I have heated seats so that is a concern.

I have had a previous Jeep but this is my last. Now I know why the warranties aren't very good, because they know their cars aren't worth it. If it was, they would back it.....
