So our Jeep was great. Then one day, Jeep decided we needed a software update. When this happened we took it to the Jeep Dealer and they said that our Jeep would not accept the software update and we would have to pay $2,000 to replace the whole radio and screen for the heat, air and back up camera. I called all of the FCA and Customer Service numbers. They literally said that Jeep has not software available to update a 2016. When I asked for further explanation, they just hung up on me. I just want someone to tell me why I have to pay $2,000 for something that Jeep did to my car??? I even sent an email to Christian Meunier, and of course, that was a useless exercise. What should I do now? Does this even seem fair? They keep wanting to make this an "out of warranty" issue, but it has nothing to do with warranties.
