problem #2

Grand Cherokee Trailhawk

  • CVT transmission
  • 1,800 miles

Brand new car having transmission problems. Shifted to reverse, unable to shift to drive for several minutes, then a huge jolt & the car moves. Check engine light on. Next time we drove it the transmission wouldn't shift gears properly & continued to jolt. Unable to go more than 25-30 mph. Car has been at the dealership since, waiting for a part to come in.

Grand Cherokee 3.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 750 miles

Second gear seems to shift in very hard at 20mph when applying brakes - it feels like it’s its lunges forward. Definitely a Safety Concern. Dealer has had it for 3 days and can’t figure it out. But they agree something is wrong. 750 miles on a $48,000 Jeep - this is unacceptable.
