Liberty Limited 3.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 120,000 miles

Headlights and dome lights flash on and off randomly while driving. I replaced the steering column/turning signal unit and it did the trick. I ordered the product online and replaced myself. It was an easy fix.

problem #2

Liberty Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 117,000 miles

I brought my car in for a recall and after picking it up and driving it home in the dark my headlights just shut off, so I pulled over & turn the engine off then on & the lights came back on. This is a real safety concern and Jeep seems to just brush me off.

Chrysler said it is not a safety issue, I believe it is due to you never know when the lights will go out. I have read on the web of a number of this type of problems.
