Similar to the other complaints for this vehicle and Dealership. This model/year is such a Lemon that Jeep does not even sell the replacement parts to repair it. The North Augusta Dealership is extremely crooked and can only supply excuses and try to push the blame to Chrysler. Simple things like radiator hoses and engine parts are no longer available. After misdiagnosing the problems and fixing the wrong components, they hold your car hostage until you pay them off. I also was returned a non functioning vehicle which I had to have towed from their lot. The only option is to file complaints and file suite against this dealer.

Chrysler builds LEMONS.

Liberty Sport 3.7L

  • Automatic transmission

I was on my way home and the car stopped without warning. I was on a hill, heading down, at about 4:30 pm in the afternoon. This was the day before a holiday and the traffic was heavy. Fortunately, when the car stopped and I was no longer able to stop, steer or restart the vehicle, a gentleman in front of me, pulled his car across traffic in order to let me continue rolling without getting hit. In fact risking his own life. Once I came to rest at the end of the hill, I was stopped between two lanes on opposite sides of a four lane street, which has a hill coming from both ways. Fortunately, people were paying attention and a tow truck pulled up behind me to block the traffic. I contacted Chevrolet regarding the matter and they said that they had no such reports about this style vehicle having any problems. Mind you this was prior to reading all of the horror stories that mirrored mines and turned out much worst. When are they going to admit that they were using defective parts in order to gain more profits? How many more lives have to be placed at risk and how many more have to die?
