We are frightened to drive this car - we did the recommended fix - added the hitch, but have read that it won't really help. Would like to find out what we can do to remedy the problem - even if we have to pay for it....

It has been found that the fuel tank explodes at rear impact. People have died... The fix that Jeep has offered me leaves me with a vehicle that can no longer tow. My car was purchased to tow horses. They encouraged me to sign a waiver when I said I need a car to tow, thus making me responsible should I, or my passengers, be harmed should it catch fire. I have been driving a dangerous car for seven years and they offer a fix that makes my car useless to me. This is a morally poor company.
