Rear window hinge has corroded out and no longer holding window. Window only held on by remaining hinge and latch. Dealer/Chrysler will not cover repair or do recall even though this is a common problem. See www.jeepforum.com/forum/F292/help-back-glass-lift-gate-1460124/ if window falls out during travel on highway, could cause significant accident.

The defroster on these models are centered on the dashboard and do not extend far enough to the left and right to prevent icing of the windshield and wipers, which causes visibility issues. It has been an issue since new, and the dealer says it is a characteristic of the vehicle. Some type of adapter to direct more of the defrost to the edges of the windshield would be helpful.
