problem #2

Mar 012015

Liberty Sport V6 4wd

  • Automatic transmission
  • 14,200 miles

Before this date we had replaced the battery at least one year before and the car died on numerous occasions and would not start. We were sent to different places including the dealership who said the alternator was fine when others thought that may be the problem. The alarm system checked as well, and that was not the problem. At that time we were at a loss to what the problem may be. Great car, but two persisting problems. (Electrical/battery & tires)

Liberty Limited 3.7L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 88,000 miles

Feel that this should be a recall. Have read many complaints about same problem from Chrysler customers. Have been dealing with this issue for over a month now. Battery died and was replaced. Was then told that I had a bad alternator. Replaced it twice and problem still persists. Car will run about a day unless battery fully charged then you get about 3-4 days and then come out to a completely dead vehicle. Chrysler needs to review the complaints and recall this issue.
