All the warning lights came on the dashboard, ie: 4 wheel/traction Control/ABS. I just wanted to pull the fuse but when I did pull the ABS, the Jeep wouldn't start. Within a few weeks the brake pedal started feeling like the ABS was kicking on, and then the truck wouldn't go above 5mph. Took it to a Firestone shop and they told me that the tone rings for the wheel sensors were rusted out. So had everything replaced, picked it up and the lights stayed on and then the rear end was dripping oil. I brought it back in and they did more more on it, I had to bitch because there work was guaranteed, another $600, so they said.

After 2 weeks, more oil dripping. Brought it back in and they supposedly fixed the leak, 3rd time, and the next day after 80 miles, drip drip!. I can't believe that a Jeep would just use metals that rot out for important functions like the sensors, which I see control everything. I put in an official complaint because at 45mph, the computer receiving bad info, slowed the truck down to 5mph, and that was a problem for a rear end hit! I hate ABS, I believe integrating into a computer with no way to turn it off when it malfunctions is stupid. So I feel bad design, safety issue, bad service. For 7 years not a problem and now this! So once again the Jeep is going in to fix the oil leak. Wish me luck. Four times a charm???
