The contact owns a 2011 Jeep Patriot. The contact stated that the headrest in the rear was blocking his view from the rearview mirror. In addition, when applying the brakes the vehicle would exhibit an abnormal squealing and he could hear air within the brake booster. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who stated that the failures were normal. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure and the vehicle was not repaired. The current mileage was 3,057 and the failure mileage was 260.
