Patriot Latitude 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

Found out through the dealership that did the diagnosis that this is a known issue. When I started to do research I found that there are many websites and articles about the manufacturer being in class action lawsuits regarding this same issue. Needless to say, I was pissed to find out that many people have had the same issue. I was blessed not to be involved in a car accident however I am now without a car because I can't afford $1,200.00 the dealership wants to charge to fix it.

Patriot Latitude 2.4L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 32,350 miles

TIMP went out. Being blamed on aftermarket trailer wiring harness that has caused ZERO issues since installed. Then in May, FUSE for harness was removed by dealer, with dealer saying it could be an issue. 2 months later, TIMP goes out and it's somehow still the wiring harness despite that thing being removed. ?? STILL UNDER WARRANTY PLEASE FIX.

Update from Sep 19, 2016: TIMP went out.
