Renegade Trailhawk 2.4L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission

By the love of all that is holy, in whatever you believe in, if you are reading this - AVOID THIS CAR LIKE A PLAGUE! So among ALL the problems this car has this is just one of them.

Electrical problems out the A** on this car among everything else. At random one morning my reverse light indicator went off. I took it to the auto shop and replaced it. The next day it went off again. I knew the light wasn't popped - I gave it a good wack on the side reflector and the light kicked on. I figured the bulb was loose, so I tightened it. The problem continues. I have to smack my reverse light every morning for it to turn on. Dealer recommended a new socket pig tail and wanted an outrageous amount for parts and repairs, of course, so for now it stays broken.

Problem 12 of 12: Around 90K, still replacing headlights almost monthly, and now another idiot light comes on the dash telling me that my back up light is out. I immediately purchase the bulb, but when I go to fix it, all the rear lights are functioning. Screw it! Let the idiot light on the dash shine its little ass off. AGAIN, UGH!!! I hate this car! I hate the lazy asses who apparently built it on a Friday wanting to go home early! I hate Victorville Motors for lying to me about the warranty! I hate FIAT/JEEP/CHRYSLER Corporation for not doing anything about this crappy electrical design flaw! May they all be issued a 2015 Renegade as their sole vehicle and have to deal with all this crap themselves! To me, that is fate worse than death!
