I'm from BC and we drove to Ontario in the summer of 2018. Thought our A/C malfunctioned but turned out it was the fan to our engine, almost blew the motor had to replace the engine fan......could have been way worse but a safety concern for sure

I had purchased the Jeep on Aug 28th 2016 I hardly had it a full month, I was driving home from work and the check engine and another light came on and it had caused my jeep to slow way down, i couldn't get it to go past 25 mph I drove it home and called the dealership they came right away but it too about 7 days before it was completed. It was a Sensor-Mass Airflow and the Wiring-Engine. After the inspection they found The Engine Harness pinched in several places and also found other wires pinched than could cause problems in the future, Inspected MAF Sensor and found damaged Thermister inside sensor. they had to replace MAF Sensor and Engine Harness. this is just the 1st problem. it goes on.

My engine light in my Jeep came on after only having it for two months. I made an appointment with the dealership and they told me that it needed a computer update, they did the update and the light went away. The following day the light came right back on. I decided myself that I would just get an oil change, I did so, the light went off and then the same deal, the following day its back on. This is very annoying especially in the winter months because it does not allow my car to go into 4 Wheel Drive or use my remote start.

My 2016 Jeep Renegade - was advised while driving home that a foglight was out. I leave the lights on "auto" so I do not forget to turn them on or off, etc. I take it back to dealer who states that cannot get it to recreate and that both foglights are working. The next time it rained, the foglights came on with the regular lights. I pulled out of driveway and made a stop and looked at the lights, the passenger foglight was out. Took a picture. Took back to dealer because now the "service engine" light is coming on. After picking up my vehicle, I was advised that on "auto" the foglights will go out if you make a turn...seriously? Service dept told me that he had 2 Renegades and both of them do it. So I said "okay so if I am driving home at night and turn left or right, one of my foglights will go out." He said "yes." ANYONE ELSE HAVE THAT ISSUE? Also, service engine light..was advised that it just needed its first oil change (oil light was not on). They reset and did an oil change. The next day "service engine" light is back on. ANYONE ELSE HAVE ISSUE WITH SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT?
