My 1997 Jeep Wrangler sputters when I touch the gas from neutral to first to second...the engine doesnt cut off, I just lose all power and then it catches...had filters, plugs, and wires all replaced..this is very dangerous..other owners have similar problems yet the manufacturer has made no attempt to remedy this problem.

Chrysler states that environmental laws will not allow them to replace the computer in my Jeep which is the problem. Dangerous driving into traffic and I don't get any gas, just sputters. Almost been rear-ended countless times in the past 13 months. Please help!

Multiple failures since September, 1998. After warm-up, then 20 minute cool -down, car will not accelerate, backfires and off to nothing, then catches and goes. Have replaced fuel pump, engine crank sensor and $700 tuneup done- no luck

Tranfer case failed to work properly while away from home in snow/ice storm leaving me with a vehicle that wasn't working as a 4 wheel drive. In August, the vehicle started experiencing severe hestation from stop and almost caused a serious accident when pulling into traffic

At speeds of 10 mph, while in neutral or first gear, the rpms drop to almost zero and vehicle stalls, but catches itself to normal. It happens, especially when accessories such heat/defroster, etc. Are on.
