problem #2

Nov 132013

Wrangler X 4.0L

  • Manual transmission
  • 85,000 miles

Fog lights do not work, all fuses, relays and wires check good, so don't know what the problem is. Just junky components I guess.

problem #1

Wrangler Unlimited

  • Automatic transmission
  • 93,000 miles

my fog lights stopped working, bought new bulbs, still didnt work. Thought it might be a relay. It tested fine. Finally thought it was the multi switch unit. bought a new one started to replace it and that was when I move the wires at the connector the fog light would come on and off. That is when i look closely at the bottom of the wiring connector and notice that it had an area on it that had melted down some. So I put the old switch back on and the fog lights would come back on pushing around on the connector would cause it to go off and on. I am now wondering if the was a recall notice on this problem. I dont see this as being a cheap replacement.
