problem #2

Oct 202016

Wrangler Rubicon 3.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

Have not complained to dealer yet. Thinking there might be a recall because of the exhaust gas danger.

problem #1

Jun 012013

Wrangler Limited 3.8L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 125,000 miles

Left header replaced under warranty in 2013. Right header appears now to have failed. Exhaust has a loud rattle at engine when starting until the manifold heats up, then sounds fairly normal- some exhaust leak sound detected. Need to bring in to dealer and replace- should still be under lifetime powertrain warranty.
