Windshield wipers stopped working when I was driving in the middle of a storm, creating a hazardous situation. Took the vehicle into the shop, had the fuses checked, wiper motor replaced, windshield wiper switch replaced, and nothing fixed the issue. The issue turns out to be a faulty tipm (totally integrated power module), and will cost over $900.00 just for the part (that is on back order ) to replace. This appears to be a widespread issue with Chrysler vehicles. We are not sure if the extended warranty will cover it and I have a $200.00 deductible. I have already put over $200. in parts. There should be a recall. Someone could get hurt or killed or hurt someone else.
