The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving at 40 mph, the hood of the vehicle opened independently without warning. The contact mentioned that the safety latch was able to keep the hood from opening completely. The failure recurred multiple times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 180. Updated 3/31/15
