Just took my 2018 JEEP Wrangler Unlimited JL in for the improved steering feel recall. The jeep was working just fine until after the software update just miles after update lost all power and shut off and wouldn't restart. I couldn't even get it to turn over enough to put it in neutral to put it on a tow truck. Finally got it restarted, back to the dealer and was told fuel pump was out. Service Bulletin #S1808000167, FCA discusses the reasons that the vehicle won-€™t start or there is lost contact with the fuel pump control module.

My 2018 wrangler accelerates when not on the gas pedal, and both the engine light and electronic throttle light comes on. My Jeep has been to the dealer 4 times for this issue and it still goes unfixed. It has been to an independent service center once, and they diagnosed the PCM (powertrain control module) as failing. This issue is very dangerous for myself and anyone else on the road as my jeep will accelerate at random.

Vehicle is under recall W12/NHTSA 20V-124. Fiat/Chrysler (fca) has been stalling us for quite a long time. The clutch pressure plate may become overheated and fracture the transmission, which can result in personal injury, or the car getting fire.the dealer says that Chrysler doesn't have the part required to fix the car, and fca keeps routing me from one representative to another, but they won't even say if they have the part. I have been making payments diligently on a car that cannot be driven, as the statement on their own letter informs that the recall pertains to a serious safety issue. My car has been to the dealer and deemed that there is a leak and the clutch hose so I shouldn't drive it. The clutch already feels extremely soft and I am afraid to drive it. Fca does is not offering any hopes of fixing nor is providing any information regarding a timeline.

Vehicle was being driven approx 30mph on a city road when a loud bang was heard. Immediately pulled over and luckily a stranger following behind quickly escorted the driver out as the vehicle completely went up in flames. Metal chunks and pieces could be heard falling underneath the vehicle. Upon closer inspection the transmission had completely exploded and ejected the clutch assembly shearing the input shaft and rupturing a fuel line. The vehicle was a complete total loss with flames immediately entering the passenger cabin in seconds. If it was not for a brave bystander serious injury or death would have occurred. This is a new transmission introduced in the new jl Wrangler and gladiator and has been happening more and more. It's a serious safety issue that Jeep refuses to look into and needs to be investigated immediately. Transmission explosion to this degree not only can result in a fire but also metal projectiles hitting bystanders and coming through the floor boards and possibly resulting in injury or death. If you are reading this and have a manual Jeep Wrangler have it checked immediately! this was a completely unknown problem showing no symptoms whatsoever.

While driving the Jeep the digital fuel level gauge went from half tank to empty. Refueled the tank and the gauge remained on empty. A week later the fuel gauge went back up to full but when you turn the car off and back on, it return to fuel level low. It has been like this for one month with frequent refill of fuel. Currently serving in the military overseas in italy with my us spec Jeep.

09/24/19 I noticed a huge stain under the right back side on my Jeep and could smell the strong odor of gas. I took it to the dealership I purchased it from and they checked it the whole day and stated nothing was showing of a gas leak or could smell the gas. Brought my vehicle home unsure because I had video of how you could hear the fuel gurgling from the tank. Today 11/09/19 again the fuel is leaking I have video showing how the fuel is going everywhere while the truck is parked and had been parked for 24 hours. Something needs to be done. It's scary to drive to and from work in the vehicle. I was first told from the dealership not to overfill my tank which I don't nor have I ever. I know something is not right with this gas tank. Please contact me at [xxx]. I really need to know what to do from here. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Currently I have two issues I believe my 2018 Wrangler jl to be experiencing. The first is a constant clicking noise coming from the undercarriage of the vehicle, mainly in the rear. This occurs at slow speeds (10mph or less). The dealer replaced my rear axle but to no avail. The second issue is that I do not believe I am able to fill my fuel tank to the proper capacity. ( have a 4-door jl) from 'low mileage' warning to full, typically I get about 16 gallons.

I have had my vehicle since July 5th, 2018. On August 26th, I went to leave my home and before I started the vehicle, I noticed Jeep was leaking gas out of the rear right portion of the vehicle when sitting in my driveway. It was sitting in my parked in my driveway at the time I observed the leak. Also saw gas streaming when I removed gas cap and looked into tank. Had vehicle towed to Jeep dealer. Consumer stated yes. It just got repaired. It was determined the fuel tank was not taking fuel properly and had filled the evap canister and all appears to be ok after driving for a few days. Updated 10/10/18. Car leaking fuel the car turned of while approaching a stop light (~15mph). I put it park and started it again, no problem. As I approached the next stop light, it turned off again. This time it took cranked for about 4 seconds before starting. I headed towards the nearest parking lot and the car started hesitating. When I pulled in I found that it was leaking gas from what appeared to be above the gas tank. It puddled up behind the passenger rear of the vehicle. Got it towed to the dealer from there. - no gas leaked where it was previously parked for over 6 hours. - problems started only a couple minutes after starting it - car had a full tank of gas, filled it that morning. - as the tow driver got it lifted, a lot more gas started leaking out. (while only the front end was on the flat bed). - about a half a gallon of gas leaked out (that I know of) update 11/2/18
