While turning the steering wheel, it makes a 'rubbing' sound...for lack of any other way to describe it. Took it to the Kia Dealership and was told it's a defective clock spring, and that the Service Department needed to contact Kia Tech line to get additional information on repair. It's been two weeks and still no word. Was told that they have other customers with the same year and model as mine and have the same noise, but they had no complaints.

No complaints? Then how did they know there was a problem? My concern is there have been issues with previous Kia models on clock spring and air bag recalls. Could this be a new safety issue that hasn't been addressed yet? Want to see if there are other 2019 Kia Forte's with the same issue.
