We had weekend plans and once again my Kia would not start. It took about 1 1/2 until the car started. During that time, I made an appointment with a different Kia dealership to troubleshoot my problem. Fortunately, I was able to make arrangement to borrow a car and drop the car off to be inspected. I call Monday and they said they were unable to duplicate the concern. I'm furious. Again, I have a family, I'm preparing for winter, and trying to prevent this car start issue from happening. My car starts from the dealership and here we go again.

I call the 1800 number i found on the KIA website and talk to the roadside assistance, who then forwards me to consumer affairs. The customer representative recommended me to bring the car back to the dealership and call him back with the given case number. This is frustrating! Kia wants me to bring it back to the dealership, who could not duplicate the concern, and not have my car for another day or two!!!! He asked me what I wanted, so I said free roadside assistance since my warranty expired. He said if my car doesn't start again, to call roadside assistance. I would then have to talk to the district manager and they might reimburse me within 1-3 business day. Wow!

I purchased a triple A membership, which kicks in a week. Crossing my fingers nothing happens. Again, I do not want to be stranded and I want to feel safe. At this point, I'm NEVER purchasing a car from KIA. I stood by their brand, I especially liked their designs. Unfortunately, I've had several electrical issues: Car starting, Camera, and intermittent horn. For future vehicle purchases, I will account beyond looks and design, because its the inside that really counts.
