Sedona 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,000 miles
The contact owns a 2006 Kia Sedona. The contact stated that the headlights failed. The contact had the light bulbs replaced but the failure recurred several times. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer for inspection and was advised that the headlights had burned out. The manufacturer was notified and they informed the contact that the warranty was closed and provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 2,000.....updated 08-24-12 the consumer stated that along with the low beams failure, the turn signal has failed multiple times. The consumer replaced the headlights on his own as well as taking the vehicle to a repair shop to be replaced. The dealer was made aware of this. The grounding cables to the headlight assemblies were replaced under warranty but, the failure recurred. Updated 09/04/2012

Sedona

  • miles
Have replaced the headlight bulbs on my 2006 Kia Sedona three times in the last year. Tonight both went out at once. This is a very common complaint on the web, but Kia denies any problem. Bulbs were not touched or allowed to touch anything but a clean glove during installation. Great care was taken both times. This time will check the alternator - seems to be a common source in several blog entries.

Sedona 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 500 miles
On my brand new Kia Sedona both headlights and one turn signal quit working. This happened with less than 500 miles on the vehicle. The problem turned out to be a bad headlight control module. This took approximately a week to get repaired. The repair was covered under warranty.
