SEC light started to come on around February 2014. Asked the dealership about this and we were told that there was a chip that needed to be replaced. Then again in June we were told the same thing. The service department said that they needed to take the dashboard apart to fix the issue, 2 times we were told this. They told us that we should not go over 60 to 65 mph. They also told us that if we don't get this fixed that at some point the vehicle could go from drive to park. It takes time to get the speed up to the rest of the traffic.
I complained to Kia customer service and then they talk to the dealership and the district manager and because we declined the service because of the cost, they would not help us. This really should be a recall issue and I have made a complaint on the NHTSA and to whereever I can. This really sucks that they don't stand behind their product and help.
