Sorento EX 2.4L

Sometimes the heater blows cold air unless it's set to MAX heat. The thermostat is supposed to allow you to control how hot the air is but anything below MAX heat is blowing cold. This doesnt happen all the time but when it does, it's very annoying. I've tried to explain it to the dealership but they cannot duplicate it and think I'm crazy.
